DT Infrastructure 2015 to present www.dtinfrastructure.ca  In 2014 Joe Nimens introduced yet another significant innovation to the helical piling industry.  This new device, the Swing Chuck, which is protected by patent law internationally, has doubled the productivity of crews installing typical helical piles. Crews have installed upto to 2820 feet of helical piling in a single 9 hour work day.  That's 141 piles 20 feet long each, installed by one operator and one labourer.  Not only that but this productivity was maintained for weeks on end, in soils that slowed other competing contractors in the same soils to a rate of 600 feet per day.  All of these piles were installed within 1 inch tolerance horizontally and within 1 degree of vertical, with these tolerances being verified by a 3rd party.
